The cell phone market in India is getting hotter with time, with new features being added to the phones every other day. The latest in the line is P3470, a smartphone by HTC. The mobile phone will come equipped with GPS, which will enable you to track the user anytime and anywhere. HTC Corporation, the global provider of Microsoft Windows Mobile smart devices, launched P3470 in India, in April 2008, as a part of its Indian product portfolio. The cell phone will have a launch price of Rs 19,900.

Design
P3470 combines a lot of features within itself, main ones being lightweight design, large screen, navigation wheel, and macro lens. The smartphone runs on Windows mobile 6.0 professional. It boasts of a 2.8-inch TFT touch screen display, with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution that supports 65k colors. The scroll wheel for navigation lets you access the main features quickly and conveniently. The dimensions of 108 x 58.3 x 15.7 mm and weight of 122 gm also make it one of the most compact smartphones in the market today.

Features
The 2 megapixel camera, which HTC P3470 comes equipped with, lets the user capture all the special moments of his life. The functions of the phone have been built in such a way that they enable an easy-to-use and simple interface for accessing web pages, documents, messages, contact lists, and so on. It runs on a TI OMAP 850, 200 Mhz processor and comes embedded with 128 MB RAM with 256 MB ROM. The other features of P3470 include Bluetooth (with an A2DP profile), mini USB, expandable memory and EDGE/GPRS support.
